Well to say the last few months have been busy is the world’s biggest understatement. Like the rest of the world, I have been getting used to working from home and trying to keep my business operating as close to normal as possible. It is a fine balance that we have all had to work on and some days I am taking it hour by hour.

My team though have been really busy pressing on delivering amazing campaigns and even filming new videos for how some of our amazing retail clients can go back to serving customers safely. For instance, we received a brief from our client the Watches of Switzerland Group to create a short video for their social media on the new COVID-19 related restrictions in all stores and highlight the safety measures they were implementing to look after their staff and customers. The video had to reflect the luxury nature of the brand but still be informative. We set out creating a storyboard, shot list and of course, the all-important; risk assessment.

The video we shot shows the customer journey when they enter our client’s store; from booking an appointment to the hygiene measures and careful cleaning processes in place. We had to show that their customers are still able to browse the store and try on products, with bookings ensuring a minimal number of customers are in the shop at once.

The overall objective of the project was to help customers feel safe enough to still come into store and demonstrate what they can expect when they do. I think the team have done a great job here by balancing the safety measures with a luxury and premium feel. I am wishing all of our retail clients the best of luck over the next few months. Hopefully, the economy can get back to some kind of normal and we can help the world start turning again.
