Public relations firms and the media battle in out at my charity pub quiz

PR Consultants and journalists from Yorkshire to do battle again in charity Pub Quiz

Last year, you might remember I started a charity pub quiz in the name of a former journalist and friend of mine called Nigel Scott who died a while back. The event thankfully was a huge success and great fun. In fact, it was so popular it sold out in just under five days, so this year the CIPR Committee and I have brought it back bigger and better. PR Companies in Leeds battle it out with local journalists at charity pub quiz

I posted a while ago about a quiz I was organising to help raise money for a couple of charities. Well last night all the magic came together and we held the quiz at The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Leeds. It was held in the memory of the former business editor of the Yorkshire Evening Post Nigel Scott. As I sure many of you know I am the social media coordinator for the CIPR in the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire region. As a regional committee we get involved in organising lots of corporate events and training but on the whole we don’t organise many fun networking events.
