I have just found this video on the Digital Buzz blog posted by Katy Daniells and I have to say it’s brilliant. I love a good stunt type video and this take on flash mobbing to demonstrate the product is superb. The concept is get a lot of people together and sit them next to each other and get them to make one huge picture out of around 60 digital screens. Here is an interesting concept – everyday we hear more and more about Facebook growing and I read a lot of posts of people asking for new features or making recommendations on how Facebook can change and get better. This has prompted Venessa Miemis to create “The Future of Facebook” project which is basically a campaign to gather enough money together to interview a huge amount of big hitters and ask the big question “What is the future of Facebook?” Let’s hope it’s better than that of Friends Reunited. I was just finishing this post when I noticed my colleague Stuart had beaten me to the chase but I think this video is that good it’s worth both of us posting about it. This is a great example of a campaign viral video – in our opinion the best yet. The US elections always seem to uncover brilliant new methods of marketing and this certainly follows in that mould.
