MySpace starts a trend by being the first to bring down its walls

This morning it’s being reported by BBC News that MySpace is set to allow users to make their information available to other websites. That includes items such as photos, video, public profile information, friends’ lists and text. It will soon let its members share the information with Yahoo, Twitter, eBay and Photobucket. Penguin and MySpace search for new James bond theme

Bond fans are getting the chance to become part of 007 history by getting the opportunity to write the music to the new Bond movie. Unfortunately, I think my musical talent doesn’t stretch this far but I am sure there will be a lot of people out there who would be interested. MySpace to launch new music channel to promote upcoming bands

MySpace continues down its own road of total music dominance, by launching an online music video channel that is to combine live gig footage with interviews and profiles to help promote new and up and coming bands. The channel has bizarrely been called Earwig TV – make your own decisions here.  Anyway, it is apparently going to aggregate content from across the whole of the site to help bands and artists reach out to new fans and hopefully in-turn attract some much needed attention from record labels.
